I went natural because it was more convenient for how active I was. I stayed natural because I started to understand who was through my natural hair. I was the only black girl in the group of my friends, all I saw was straight hair. Seeing curls, swirls and twirls in my hair allowed me to be the real me, not converted to someone else. Through my hair I learned that I am as conventional as my hair, I haves different elements that make up this great person. Practicing what I preach; Otto was time for me deep condition my hair. I try tpo do this every two weeks. I just co wash my hair with my conditioner and then I sit under the dryer for 15-30 minutes and rinse the conditioner out.
